U12s West Yorkshire County Trials

As you may have read, a number of our Mini Bees attended the West Yorkshire county trials. This year was exceptionally busy especially with the girls, so much so that they had to split the group. Such is the passion and talent across our region. We are really proud to announce that two of our junior boys have got through to the training stages of the county programme and will be playing in at least one of the two tournaments against Durham, Northumberland, Manchester, South and North Yorkshire.

One of our Mini Bees not only trialled for outfield but also in goal. He was by far the youngest keeper there but he has been called back to the next two training sessions before the coaches make their final selection for the tournaments.

Our girls put everything into their trials but unfortunately this time won’t be going through to the training programme. I know the girls will carry on proudly representing Bingley Bees.

We are lucky as a small club to have so many of Mini Bees able to attend the trials and from that to have such fantastic success.

Well done boys and I know from one of our previous Mini Bees’ continued success in his county career for the U13s, you will really enjoy yourselves.
